Tête — à — Tête (เตต—ตะ—เตต)
an experimental comic experience

An exploration of inner thoughts presented through installation pieces that sit between comics and contemporary art. Using the space
as an element of the exhibition which the artworks respond to.
The exhibition aims to show viewers a unique form of storytelling which stems from
the artist’s experience as a comic artist, illustrator, and visual designer. A first time ever curated collaboration between Tuna Dunn and Saratta.

a part of Bangkok Design Week 2021

Tunlaya Dunnvatanachit is a 28-year-old visual designer based in Bangkok, Thailand. Known as “Tuna Dunn”, her work covers illustration, comics, animation, and visual design. Her style of work is simplistic and communicative. Recently she has been experimenting with shapes and abstractions while maintaining her strength as a storyteller.

In 2018 she moved to London to pursue a masters degree in Illustration and Visual Media. Throughout her studies she experimented with comics and abstract shapes which are the results of her personal thoughts. This exhibition will be a continuation of such work.

Saratta is a compact soulful art space packed with seasonal selected original art
and limited prints of talented and new-face artist. Nested inside Reno Hotel.
Founded by Patamon Nisabodee an experience of ten years as a visual designer
who never stop adding up her flat world to another dimension.

tête—à—tête is an experimental comic experience installation, a first time ever curated collaboration between Tuna Dunn and Saratta. Challenging the loud silence which is the unique DNA
of Tuna Dunn’s work. Giving an overwhelm storytelling experience through space.
