Anupan Pluckpankhajee Thai, b. 1977

Biography

Painter and Art Therapist, Anupan spent much of his time traveling the self-evident path in Germany. With the background knowledge in Philosophy and he began his artistic journey from a small school according to the anthropological tradition. Additionally, the practice he eventually found was spiritual art.

 

In terms of his artistic journey, he has held a total of 8 solo exhibitions. In 2019, Anupan was invited to be as a guest curator at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center in the Art of Element & Therapy exhibition. He has written books since 1999; namely, Crystal of Sand (1999), Little Hills. Huge Stories (2002), Our Children Are Colouring The World (2009), Can You See The Colours In My Eyes (2010) respectively. His latest writing is In darkness we light (2019) And the Colors of Life's Beauty (2021). He lives in an art studio located in Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province, working on the project for this exhibition quietly since the beginning of 2018.

 

Anupan House Museum  is an art space founded in 2022 by Artist and Art Therapist, Anupan Pluckpankhajee in collaboration with Saratta. At the beginning, the space functioned as a studio, art therapy school, and his residence. It is then turned into a house museum serves to present the identity, work and perspective of the artist himself. Anupan House Museum welcomes visitors with an atmosphere surrounded by peaceful nature and stunning mountain scenery of Chiang Dao district Chiang Mai Province.

 

This collaboration between Saratta and Anupan Pluckpankhajee aims to introduce Anupan House Museum as a new art space. Working as the curatorial team, Saratta is responsible for communicating the artist's story through the organization of space and presentation of the artwork.Saratta is a soulful compact art space abundant with seasonal selected original art and limited prints of talented artists. Nested inside Reno Hotel, Kasem San 1 Alley. Founded by Patamon Nisabodee with an experience of ten years as a visual designer. With a role as a curator who conveys feelings as an essence, art curates as a new communication medium.
