'Presence of mind' The present chronicles of water and colors
An ego-rooted, anxious stem, inevitably fruits obscured shell. Light (pigments) and space (water) as instruments of a time-based method cultivate mindfulness. Those incognitive actions as the state of present provoke the streams of temporal consciousness. The noble properties of watercolor inherit the simplicity of expression, rinse and reveal an accessible state of being and presence. An observation of change, the value of pigments has been determinedly impressed onto the plane. Leave behind all belongings, the exhibition extends an invitation to the audience to mindfully interact and embrace the ‘presence of mind’. Navin Tantanadaecha Artist and Art Educator, who defines art as a space to listen to his inner voice. Over the past ten years, he has been passionated and explored the value of watercolor art. An appreciation of water-coloring driven by curiosity brings to the experiment process which records his experience. Eventually, he learned about life through the nature of water, coloring process, and its relation to paper. This process of learning provided a balance to his mind, welcoming the change that temporarily came and gone. Together with observing himself stably rooted in each season that encounters. Saratta is an innovative soulful art space representing the love of art. Abundant with seasonal selected original arts and limited prints of Thai and international artists. The serendipitous encounters among artist, collectors and natures. 'Presence of mind' The present chronicles of water and colors อัตตารากแก้วแห่งตัวตนที่หล่อเลี้ยงด้วยแขนงแห่งความกังวลเติบโตเป็นเปลือกห่อหุ้ม การทำงานกับแสง (สี) และพื้นที่ว่าง (น้ำ) โดยมีเวลาเป็นแกน การประจักษ์ชัดจากการลงมือทำ กระตุ้นให้ได้ยินเสียงจากภายใน ค้นพบคุณค่าของปัจจุบัน ความเรียบง่ายที่แสดงออกผ่านภาษาของสีน้ำได้ปลดเปลื้องสภาวะกาลในปัจจุบัน (present) ไปสู่การเป็นปัจจุบัน (presence) การเรียนรู้ถึงธรรมชาติของการเปลี่ยนแปลง น้ำหนักที่ถูกบันทึกอย่างเรียบง่ายแต่หนักแน่นเป็นปัจจุบันขณะของใจที่สมดุลมั่นคง เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ชมได้ละวางความคิด มาร่วมสังเกต ปล่อยให้ความรู้สึกสัมพันธ์กับชิ้นงานที่โอบล้อมเป็นปัจจุบันขณะ นาวิน ตันธนะเดชา ศิลปินและคุณครูศิลปะ ที่มีศิลปะเป็นพื้นที่ในการทำความรู้จักตนเอง โดยช่วงกว่า 10 ปีที่ผ่านมา ได้หลงใหลและสัมพันธ์กับคุณค่าของสีน้ำ ความพึงใจในความอยากรู้ได้นำพาไปสู่กระบวนการทดลองและบันทึกการค้นพบการณ์ที่ประสบ จนคลี่คลายมาสู่การเรียนรู้ชีวิตผ่านธรรมชาติของน้ำ สี และกระดาษ ที่ได้มอบสมดุลทางใจในการต้อนรับความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เวียนแวะมาร่วมไปกับการเฝ้ามองตนเองหยั่งรากตามฤดูกาลที่ผ่านพบ สารัตถะ คือ พื้นที่รวบรวมงานศิลปะงานสิ่งพิมพ์ Original Artwork และภาพพิมพ์ Limited Edition ของศิลปินชาวไทยและต่างประเทศ ผลัดเปลี่ยนหมุนเวียนตามฤดูกาล ก่อตั้งด้วยความตั้งใจเป็นพื้นที่ที่เป็นมิตรกับศิลปิน นักสะสม ผู้คน และธรรมชาติแวดล้อม Credit
